9/18/18 The pups are 5 weeks and 1 day old.  The weather has been sunny and warm enough for some outside time.  They loved being out and having some space to run and tackle each other.  Lots of playing and sleeping. Not to mention, it was nice to have them out of the house for a few... Enough talking.  How about some nice outside portraits of the pups..... Pup #1. aka "FJ" or Fat Jared.  He is still the biggest and nobody seems to push him around. Pup #2 is "KP" He might be the most easy going of the three boys. Pup #3 aka "Trufo" is last but not least of the 3 males. pup #4 aka "Croft" has quite the sniffer. seems like she is always looking for something. pup #5 is "Mini Miso"  named after her aunt with similar markings.  She is the first to great us in the morning when we wake up. pup #6 aka "Ziggy" named for a z shape on her back.  Her face might be perfect. ...

I cant believe that we are already half way to the end point where these beauties are gonna head off to be with their own families.  I thought is was gonna be easy to see them go but they just keep getting cuter and cuter!!! We started potty training and already see some success. We've moved away from going to the bathroom on their blanket to a papered area. They seem to hit the target more than half the time already We also started the pups on a watered down and blended puree of puppy chow.  It helps take the pressure off of momma and her nipples and under belly that is getting sore. Enough of that! how about some mug shots!  They are in order.  The first three are boys and the last 5 are girls. SERIOUS POSERS!!!

2 weeks old. BIGGER, FATTER, and MORE FUN! 8/27/18

At two weeks old, all have more than doubled in size. They wobble but walk on all fours.  Some have opened there eyes and we anticipate all eyes open before the weekend.  It will be a different ball game by the end of next weekend when their walking will start to stabilize and all eyes working and coming into focus. Here they are at 2 weeks old! Pup #1 Male weighed in at 2.24 lb.s Pup #2 Male weighed in at 1.81lbs Pup #3 Male weighed in at 1.93 Pup #4 Female weighed in at2.10 lbs. Pup #5 Female weighed in at 2.16 lbs Pup #6 Female weighed in at 1.96lbs. Pup #7 Female weighed in at2.20lbs. Pup # 8 female weighed in at 2.00lbs.

12 days old and already more than double the size

The pups are all growing at a great rate. They have all more than doubled their birth weight and continue to just get fat!!!  Its a rough life when you are a 12 days old. All you do is eat, sleep, and poop and pee!  I could take pictures like this all day long.  I spend enough time with them and don't seem to get much else of anything that needs to get done because I just keep spending too much time with these adorable puppies. Eat and sleep!  Eat and sleep!  Eat and sleep! Extra snuggle time with momma! So full and so tired! Look at that belly!!! Well, It is official.  If it was a race to see which pup would open their eyes first... Pup #6 is the winner.  She isn't the biggest girl, but she is the first to open the eyes.  We are anticipating that the rest will follow suite in the next few days. and how about those pretty blue eyes!!!

3 day old weigh-ins.  These puppies are proving to be good eaters.  We feed Seri All she can eat and yet the puppies take it all away with her milk.  The are all putting on the pounds now. #1  He weighs 17.63oz and is the largest male #2     He Weighs 14.10oz. #3     He Weighs 14.46oz.  #4   She Weighs 16.22oz and is the most dominant female so far.  #5   She Weighs 17.63 oz.  #6    She Weighs 16.22  #7     She Weighs 16.93 and our only liver.  #8   She weighs 16.93, She WAS the runt.

Seri continues to show off her motherly skills.  She is a perfect combination of loving provider and cautious protector. She didn't like being separated from her puppies so they could have their tails docked and dew claws removed, but it is a necessary evil.  They look a little different from the backside now.
